State Quarter Collectors READ!!!
My wife and I have been collecting $10.00 rolls of State Quarters since they first came out. All have been purchased from banks and most are paper wrapped although a few are shrink wrapped from the bank. We have not been particular about mint marks although several we have seen are Philadelphia, and do not know without looking where they were the rest were minted. We are in Tennessee so they could have come from anywhere. Our intention was to purchase 10 rolls of each issue and hold on to them until the series was complete in 2008. Sunce the series is complete, we will consider what to do with 20,000 quarters! Recently, we took inventory and found the folowing discrepencies from our plan. We would be interested in TRADING to make our goal. The states we have and quantinty we need (-) and excess we have (+) are listed below. If you are interested in TRADING, we will prepay shipping to you if you prepay shipping to us. PA +2, NJ -2, GA -1, CT -2, MA -8, MD -2, SC +1, VA +1, NY +2, NC -1, RI +1, VT -1, KY +2, TN +2, OH -5, LA +1, IN +2, IL -8, AL +2, ME +2 MI +2, IA +1, WI -5, CA +1, MN +3, OR +2, WV +10, ND +2, SD -4. Again we are TRADING at face value without regard to current "suggested" values. We have no plans to sell until the collection is complete then will entertain offers. Please call to confirm trades. |
